Okay, I realise that I have been pretty slow to catch up with any of the forum outside of the OC topics, which is sad, and even sadder still because I've been subconciously neglecting the roleplaying topics where I used to be totally adicted to. But I guess after I fell out of the daily routine of roleplaying on a daily basis it was hard to get back in. I'm too behind with the ones you all have already put up or the others are just dead so I thought I would come up with a new one for us to work on so we have more roleplaying and I can catch up to you guys!
Here is my first one since I am making two. Everyone in the Loonatics tower are on here way to go see Zadavia in Freleng for a concert they were all invited to. When their ship accidently lands itself in a meteor feild the ship crashes onto a jungle like planet...with DINOS!!!!
Emily's idea. Not mine. We had a dsicusion wether it should be written down. She wanted to do it but knew she wouldn't. Same with me. So I thought it would make a good roleplay. Em, if you do not aprove then just let me know and I will remove it lickety split.
Here are characters we can roleplay with. Ace, Lexi, Slam, Tech, Rev, Duck, Icy, Cassidy, Seth, Quick, Mairi, Sapphire, Dusk, and Ozzie. No kids. That will be for the other one I make. Kids would just make it complicated and it should be jsut plain simple fun....so no pregnant coyotes either Danni. I'm watching yoooouuuu....further more I would like to add that Icy and Ozzie can be used by anyone. Dont wait for me to be on to use them. If the rest of you were smart you'd say the same for your OCs, otherwise this is just going to be a slooow roleplay.

"YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rev slid across the smooth, steel floor of the ship on his knees, screaming at the top of his lungs while he rocked out on an air guitar. He stayed on his knees a moment longer to prick fiercely at invisible strings with his fingers, making high pitched guitar noises until he bit his lip to finish the performance off. "GOOD NIGHT FRELENG!!!" The rest of the ship just stared at him wide eyed, eyebrows raised. "Oookay." Ace turned back to the pilot's chair. "I tink we've established dat Rev is excited. How do da rest of us feel?" "Well Universe is the hottest band in...well, the universe." Icy said enthusiastically. Lexi pulled out three some CD cases from her pink bag. "I have almost all of their albums! They're amazing!" "It was nice of Zadavia to invite us to this concert." Tech said from over a newspaper. Duck scoffed from his seat next to Mairi, who was staring blankly out the window. "Oh please! Like you haven't been to enough with her..." Tech just ignored him after a quick glare and went back to reading. Icy stared back at the roadrunner,who was still air guitaring. "Rev...Rev...REV!" "Yeah?"Rev looked up with curious green eyes. Icy jerked a thumb at the back of the ship. "Can you get me a soda please? I don't like to walk around in the ship while its moving." "Sure Ice!" Rev got up and zoomed out the back door, exiting the ****pit. Duck snickered behind his hand. "Feeling a little motion sickness Ice?" "No, but Cassidy is." The poor she coyote matching perfectly to Tech uniform as she clung to him, looking woozy. "Lemme off this thing.... I need air!"

The only time that the redhead wasn't sick while in a car or ship is when she's driving it. And, unfortunately for her, the gang would much rather have a woozy, but otherwise calm Cassidy than their lives being in danger on the trip there. Tech put his arm around Cassidy and hugged her. "Relax, we're almost there." Icy, who was sitting directly behind the two coyotes, pointed into her mouth and started to silently pretend to throw up. Rev, who had returned with Icy's soda, snorted, covering his beak with a free hand. "Icy, I know you're making faces again." Tech replied coolly, not even glancing up from his newspaper. "How'd you-" "I have eyes in the back of my head." He answered her. "After how many times Rev's scared the crap outta him sneaking into the lab, he'd should." Lexi giggled. Even Cassidy smiled. "He'll make a good father some day." She patted his knee. Tech's face flushed red. "Yeah.... well..." He cleared his throat. "So, Ace, how much longer till we get there?" "Yeah, Ace! Are we there yet?!" Icy and Rev said in unison. "Don't make me turn dis ting around!" Ace called out teasingly

Duck held his head and leaned forward in his seat so that he was looking over Quick's. "Aaaaace! Get us there now! Mazz thinks the stars are having babies and she's naming ALL OF THEM!!!" Mairi just kep counting off the names, oblivious to her partner's pleads of anguish. "Bonnie, Maxie, Flora, Suzie, Tibbles, Rocky--" "AAAAGH!!!"

Ace's eye twitched. It was even too much for him to handle. "Alrighty then, everyone hang on." Cassidy only clung to Tech tighter, and Tech was starting to not be able to breathe. All of the passengers in the ship were suddenly thrown back in their seats as Ace almost floored the gas pedal. And now Tech's face was starting to match Cassidy's uniform colour. 83

Suddenly, it came to a stop.
All was silent, except for the huffing and puffing of the Loonatics and Mairi as they tried to regain control of their breathing.
"And you guys said it'd be less dangerous if Ace drove!" Cassidy spat out, glaring.

The radar suddenly started blinking and static started to cover up the controls. Ace blinked and called Tech over. "Hey Tech, what's wit da controls?" Tech walked over and inspected them carefully. "Hm, static interference. I'm guessing we drove through a space energy wave." "Is dat good." Tech shook his head. "It could be bad. As pace energy wave usually indicates a wormhole is going to pop up close by. It could be here, it could be a few miles from us, but I suggest we get out of the way just incase." Ace nodded. "Okay den, we'll take a slight detour. I was thinking of looking for a fast food port anyways...Uuuuh...." The bunny pulled at the wheel to make it go but the ship just stopped in its tracks. Everyone looked quizically out the ship window to see that it was just floating in space. Ace raised an eyebrow in concern. "Okay dat's not good. Rev? Can you zip up dere and see if you can hotwire the ship from the emergency panel?" "Sure!" Rev within a moment had zipped off, zapped his space suit on, gone into the airlock exit, and flew out on top of the ship. He looked around at the silver plates for a handle but before he could find it he turned around at the sudden sound of rushing wind. He gasped in horror and then sped back down into the ship.He ran up to Ace and stared babbling hyper gibberish at the bunny, hopping back and forth on his feet nervously. Tech grabbed the roadrunners shoulders. "Rev, calm down. What is it?" "WORMHOLE!!!" Just as the word left his beak the ship rocked to its side. Everyone in their seat belt swayed to the left, hanging in their seats as they screamed while Rev and Tech hit the side wall with a thud. Ace grunted as he tried to get the controls to work. "No use! Everybody hang on!" The wormhole pulled the ship towards, making the ship spin so as it did. Rev and Tech tumbled around the ship as if they were clothes in the dryer while everyone else remained strapped to their seats, screaming. "Oh my god!" "Ow my legs!" "Dios mio!" "Look bubby! No hands! Weeee!!!" "Oh brother..." "I'm going to be sick!" "Wish they had rides like this at Acme land!" "You're joking right?" The wormhole sucked the ship completely in at such speed that when the Loonatics were spat out the other end the entire vessel went hurtling comet speed at a tangle of large, thick trees. The ship stopped abruptly, wedged between two fat tree branches, upside down. The passengers inside moaned and groaned, feeling wooziness and whiplash hit their stomachs and heads. Cassidy held a hand to her mouth, her long braided hair swaying back and forth. "That didn't help my carsickness at all...Urp!" Ace huffed and piufed out of breath as he looked behind him. "I-Is everyone alright?" There were some yesses, maybes, and noes but everyone was at least answering. He nodded. "Good....Uh, Rev? Tech? You two okay down dere?" The two were piled in a pathetic, tangled heap on the ceiling. Rev put hand up to his face. "Uuurgh I think I bent my beak." "I think I bent my tail." Tech whined.

"I think I bent my brain!" Mairi cried happily, trying to focus her spinning vision.
Duck rolled his eyes. "I think it was bent long ago..." With that, he quacked out of his seat and onto the ceiling. "Ugh. I think I threw up in my bill."
Ace and Lexi unbuckled their seats and gracefully sommersaulted from above, then began helping everyone else turn the right way up and to put their feet on something solid.
Slam gurgled something seemingly indiscernable, but Lexi replied confidently, "I don't think any of us know where we are Slam."
"Tech, ol' buddy. Can ya woik on dat?" Ace asked, crouching down to look out the front window. Quick did the same. "Dios mio. Are we even on an eenhabeeted planet, Ace?" She asked curiously.
Indeed, what they saw outside didn't appear to be playing host to anything living. It was still, quiet, thick with vegetation. Cassidy stared in awe. "I've never seen plants like these-"
"Pffft! Duh. We're on a different planet, sister." Duck interjected sarcastically.
The Sarian shot him a glare. "I was GOING to say, I've never seen plants like these outside of books."
"What do you mean?" Sapphire asked, still in the process of straightening out her hair.
"Flora such as this once inhabited Acmetropolis - during the Cretaceous Period in fact. Some 140 million years ago." Tech answered, tapping away at his arm communicator. "Ugh. Sorry Ace. The hardware must have been damaged during the tumble. And it'll probably take days to repair the ships computer system." Tech explained apologetically.
"Well gang. Looks like it's time to explore da outside woild. Tech, you and Rev stay here and put dis puppy back on her feet, da rest of us will reconnoitre." Ace grinned, walking towards the hatch. However, he was suddenly stopped when someone took hold of his arm.
"Wait!" Mairi squeaked, her normally happy disposition replaced by an expression of concern. "What Tech said... About... Yanno..."
"Taking days to repair the ship?" Tech offered impatiently.
"No."
"Hardware being damaged?"
"No. About the plants."
"140 million ye-"
"Before that."
"Having such species on Acmetropolis-"
"After that."
"Cretaceous Period?"
"THAT!" She then turned back to Ace. "Wasn't that the time of the dinosaurs... Like, the T-Rex and the Velociraptor??"
Everyone stared at her in confusion. Mairi suddenly felt stupid, but continued t explain. "Yanno. Dinosaurs. Stomp stomp, rawr, chomp chomp?" She made a couple of prehistoric lizard gestures with her arms and feet, causing Rev and Icy to giggle at her impersonation.
"We know what dinosaurs are, Mazz." Ace stated before she could continue. "It's just... Ah... Where did you loin dat? I mean... It doesn't seem like... Uh... Yer typical... Mazz-information." It was exeedingly obvious how delicately Ace was trying to imply that Mairi seemed too stupid to know such things, and admittedly, she was a little hurt.
"I look after young boys on a regular basis. I've read a few dinosaur books in my time." She explained.
"Well, just because the flora is similar to the Jurrassic period, doesn't mean the fauna will be." Tech said, tinkering with his arm communicator.
"Is it possible?" Seth asked, after a long bout of silence.
"Well, yes-"
"Notleavingtheship." Mairi's eyes grew wide and she suddenly clung to a nearby railing.
"Oh for the love of-" Lexi cut Tech off.
"Ace, if there is a dangerous environment outside, then Mairi would be completely helpless."
Tech's face suddenly fell.
"Yeah. She doesn't have any powers-" Dusk agreed before Sapphire interjected, "Any knowledge of weaponry."
"Any knowledge at all." Duck mumbled with a roll of his eyes.
Tech shook his head, wide-eyed, before letting out an almost inaudible "No..."
Ace sighed. "Alrighty. Mazz, you stay here wit' Rev and Tech."
Icy patted Tech's shoulder sympathetically. "I feel so sorry for you. But. Not my problem. So I don't feel that sorry." Tech glared coldly at the fox as she strutted away. Slam was at the back of the ship rumaging through the lugage to see what he could bring for snacks when he found Icy's under the entire pile moving and mumbling. The Tasmanian devil lifted it up and looked at it curiously, turning it this way and that before unzipping it, the contents of the bag spilling out onto the floor. Plopping down onto the growing pile of power bars was Ozzie, looking completely and utterly sick to his stomach. "Gurdbaokay?" "Truthfully, no." Icy looked over her shoulder. "Oh I totally forgot I packed that. Slam, can you grab him for me?" Slam gently picked the naucious ferret up and slung him over his shoulder like a wet washcloth. Ozzie looked around completely dazed. "W-what the heck heappened? I blacked out! I remember napping and then screaming and spinning and getting squished and then my life flashed before my eyes!" "Well apperently we've crash landed in Jurrassic park." Duck snickered, gesturing a thumb at Mairi. "Okay guys, settle down. Lets just take a little looksie around before we start judging..." Ace kicked down the smashed emergency exit at the side of the ship and stepped out onto the tree branch. The others followed and he wistled when he took a look at the size of the tree they were on. "Wow. If we weren't hurtling trew da air like a missle we could have used dis branch as a runway." "Instead we mangaed to wedge the entire ship between the two. I mean what are the odds of that?!" Duck inspected the tightly packed scrap of metal that was squished between the trees like a smashed up tin can. "Could have been worse. We could have crashed all the way dow nthere and exploded..." Icy pointed bellow and the rest of her company had to awe at how high up they were. "Jeez thees theen ees almost as tall as HQ! How are we going to git down?" Quick asked nervously as she shied away from the edge. "Well Dusk can fly. Maybe he can carry us down one at a time." Lexi said. Dusk looked at Slam and then back to Lexi. "No." Ozzie stood up on the Tasmanian's shoulder and rubbed at his amber stone. "Hold on a second..." The stone glowed bright gold and the wind picked up dramatically. With yelps of surprise the gang was lifted off their feet and went hurtling towards the ground, spinning out of control. The gorund rushed up at them at amazing speed and they all screamed, some clinging to each other. At the last second before hitting the earth they all stopped, floating inches above the ground. Ozzie let them down gently and then chuckled a little to himself as he perched himself on a branch jsut above them. Duck was already on the gorund with his arms crossed. He pocked Icy in the arm. "Beat ya." "That was not cool Ozzie!" Cassidy let her hand fly to her mouth as she felt her lucnh coming back up again. "I am obligated to have some fun." Ozzie grinned, showing little sharp teeth as he leaned against the tree. But Seth was pointing up at him dramatically, his other hand balled into a fist and his eye twitching. "You're creepy man! Creepy! I'm telling you guys! Rodents like that can NOT be trusted!" "Ahem." Seth looked over at Quick, the mouse tapping her foot irritably. "Um....you're okay hun." "Well it was better then climbing down. The important thing is we're all on the ground safe and sound." Sapphire said cheerily, trying to lift everyone's mood. But jsut as the words slipped out of her mouth, the oh so dramatic timing of a distant, thundering roar echoed through the air. Duck looked around, gulping. "I-Is that a good thing?"

Quick stood stiff as a board, as the sound of the roar echoed throughout the unexplored jungle. Then, swiftly turning her head and body, she looked around at the suddenly threatening foilage and fauna surrounding the team suspiciously. "Uhhh...Ace...I don theenk Dinosaurrs were coverred in basic-training!" she whispered harshly. "Yea, I'll be sure ta add that to da agenda." the leader glanced suspiciously at the bushes as well. "...Hey Lex, did'ja get a fix on which d'rection that dino was in?" Lexi turned around, pointed her finger to the left, and cheked the compass on her armpiece. Her expression faltered for a moment, and she repeated her actions, confused. "Uh--" "Don't tell me." Ace tilted his head back and sighed at the canopy of trees above. "Compass ain't workin?" Then every one of the Loonatics members proceed to check their wrist communicator's coordinates. "Yuuup" they chorused. "Oooof Course." he hung his head to the grassy floor. "Saw that commin'." Quick folded her arms. "Didn't care to share?" Dusk looked down upon her. "Eh. Sometimes ees no necessary." "Ah."

Another roar followed soon enough, it hung in the humid air and seemed to make the trees around them shudder and shake. It made pin-pointing its location a heck lot harder than usual.
And all of a sudden... it just stopped.
"Well that was anti-clima- AAAAAAGGHH!" Duck screeched as something small bolted out from the nearby bushes right between his legs. The mallard stumbled back in shock before before landing hard on his bum.
This ignited a chain of gasps and shrieks as the creature started a blind hurdle between the group; hurdling head first into many legs and tripping a stunned Ace right across Duck's lap. Awkward as it was, the two barely had a chance to think before something large and purple landed on them.
Duck spoke softly through his squashed beak, his voice coming out in a high pitch squeak, "I think I broke a bone, or three."
The small creature paused for a moment, giving the team a chance to actually see what they were dealing with. The creature stood on two legs, its relatively small hands held up on its body with its sharp claws extended in a ferocious stance. It supported a deep scratch on it's shoulder that a few (who weren't completely paralyzed by the sight) noticed was oozing with a deep crimson liquid. Its small beady eyes scanned the group in defiance, a low growl escaping its throat in warning. Although no one had ever seen one of these animals, there was no mistaking what it was.
Seth was the first one to break the silence: "Holy crap."
"It's a real dinosaur." Lexi breathed, scared to raise her voice.
"But I thought they were extinct." Dusk voiced out, taking a tentative step back.
"Then that is one ugly fossil," Seth replied.
"It's scared," Sapphire said gently, speaking up for the first time since the creature's appearance. Her comment was greeted by disbelieving looks from all directions. "Oh, and why don't we say that it's lost its way to the magical fair ground and is actually a sub-species of unicorn while we're at it," Duck said, recovering from the slight shock.
Sapphire ignored him and kept her eyes locked with the small dinosaur, knowing better than to break eye contact. She didn't even blink, seemingly transfixed with the animal ahead of her.
And the young dinosaur stared back.
Ever so slowly, she lowered herself to the ground, propping herself up with her right knee so that she leveled the creature. "Sapph, what are you-?" Cassidy couldn't get her question out in time. "Come on here, I won't hurt you," Sapphire cooed, petting the ground in front of her. Cassidy already had her answer.
Part of Sapphire yelled at her that this was just plain stupid and dangerous, a voice that sounded surprisingly like her cousin Abby, yet another part, the softer, gentler part of her that had always been with her since she was a kid told her that this was the right thing to do. She shoved Abby's voice straight to the back of her head and hesitantly held a hand out in front of her.
The dinosaur growled straight in her direction, revealing a gleaming row of small, sharp teeth. She forced herself not to flinch, sensing all around her the sudden rush of adrenaline as her friends held themselves back in typical 'ready-to-burst-into-action' stance, ready to jump in at any moment,
This was exactly like calling a lost stray, the moment of silence as the animal decided to trust her or not, the way her heart pounded against her rib cage in silent hope...
... Only this wasn't your regular stray.
"You're mad." Duck squeaked. He opened his beak to speak again but something stopped him. Something that made every single jaw drop. Something that made Dusk's eyes light up in a mixture of fear and worry.
The dinosaur slowly approached the girl, sniffing at her outstretched hand.

Cassidy drew in a silent breath, eyes locked on the tiny creature. After a few heart-pounding moments, she began to realize Sapphire's logic - as scary as even the thought of that was. The dinosaur was scared. It was hurt. It wanted someone to help.
Ever so slowly, the coyote's arms fell to her sides, her legs bending as she crouched behind Sapphire.
The creature flinched, staring at Cassidy with wide-eyes. Cassidy didn't dare move a muscle, and the creature relaxed, focusing again on Sapphire's hand, sniffing all around it curiously, as if expecting some form of food to be on it.

Icy, stood behind Cassidy, eyes darting from her friend to the creature, to Sapphire, to the creature, to Cassidy, to Sapphire, to the creature, until she uttered a low, "Careful guys." and lowered her eyebrows, keeping her eyes fixated on the little dangerous creature.
But perhaps they were right, she thought, and this Dino WOULD be a friend rather than foe. After all he WAS injured. The little guy was probably just spooked. Who knows maybe he could talk, it wouldn't be the first time that occured. She took notice of Ozzie hanging over her shoulder, still and watching the scene just as well. Icy didn't exactly remember in all the commotion how he'd gotten onto her, but she couldn't blame him for wanting to be out of the way of those gleaming sharp teeth. Biters like those could be lethal to a small rodent if he wasn't careful.
