"What is it?" she asked, eyes wide with wonder.
"A flower." he stated bluntly.
Sapphire sighed, putting her hands on her hips. Clearly a bit annoyed.
"Thank you, Mr.Obvious. I ment what KIND of flower."
Dusk chuckled. He rubbed the back of his neck as he handed her the plant.
"A special kind, my mom plants them on the farm. She got them from her mother back in Switzerland. A rare sort of flower. I clipped one off for you when she was out of the house."
Sapphire blushed a lush pink.
"You didn't have too..." she murmered.
Dusk shrugged in reply.
"I thought you might've liked it. No harm done. It's just one flower after all." he said with a casual smile.

Dusk had always been like that. Ever since Sapphire had moved from the big city to the humble country three years ago. She left all her friends, her school, her home. She was a city girl at heart and was not very fond of the country hicks with no electricty or cell phone signals. She remembered the first day of school. The strange glares she received and the whispers that proceeded behind her back. Dusk was really was only the one wh was kind enough to talk to her and help her. And she always liked that about him. She never seemed to be a burden to him. And quite frankly, he was one of her first ever real friends. Not like the superficial snobs she hung around with at her highschool back in the city. But he actually cared and listened to her. He understood everything that nobody else could.

"Sapph?" Dusk said suddenly.
He was much closer to her face now. His violet eyes bright and gentle.
"Yes?" she barely whispered.
"I love you." he mumbled softly.
She swallowed. Her throat was swelled up. She couldn't speak. The world stopped. Time froze. And she felt his lips on hers. The only thing she was capable of doing was holding on to him as the kiss continued. It was anunexplainable expierience that seemed to warm her very soul. She found it hard to not kiss back.It finally stopped after what seemed to be hours. She was breathing heavily as he stared down at her. She couldn't look into his eyes. Afraid she might explode just from looking at him.

"Sapphire?" he asked, out of breath.
She made an incoherent squeak in reply.
"I'm...sorry...I didn't mean to offend you-"
"Offend me!?" she blurted out in shock.
He flinched.
"You didn't hurt me at all! I was just..." she searched for the right word.
"Surprised." she finished.
The boy raised an eyebrow.
"Surprised?" he repeated.
She nodded.
"Yeah. You're so quiet and polite an all that. I never thought you would even DARE to stuff your tongue down a girls throat."
Dusk blushed a vibrant red.
"I did not shove my tongue down your throat!" he retorted weakly.
"Our tongues didn't even make contact!"
Sapphire laughed loudly and embraced him. She looked up into his eyes before placing a peck on his cheek.
"You love me." she teased.
"I've established this fact."
She giggled, resting her head on his shoulder.
"And I love you too."

And they kissed once more. Dusk let go of her as the kiss died out.
"I've gotta' get home." he said with a sad smile.
"Horses to feed. Cows to milk."
Sapphire nodded, squeazing his hand gently.
"Alright. I'll see you at school tommorow. I want to stay here for a bit longer."
They said their goodbyes and Dusk was off. Sapphire sighed as she saw him disapear from sight. Smiling she looked down at her flower. It seemed to glow in the sun's mid-day presence. She outlined the petals wih her index finger, it was velvety smooth. She brought to her cheek. Soft and supple. She laughed and the wind blew her hair into her eyes. She began to think that she loved the country more than the city.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through HQ,
Not a Loonatic was stirring, yes even Matty D. too,
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Zadavia would soon be there,
The children were nestled snuggly in their beds,
Whiles visions of Fuzzies danced throughout their heads,
And Quick with her cheese and Seth with his booze,
Had just settled down for a lovely winter snooze,
When outside arose such a loud noise,
Seth woke up from his dream about boys,
Away to the window he flew rather quickly,
He still had a hangover so he felt rather sickly,
The moon shined brightly over the icy sea below,
And it made a rather silvery glow,
When, to his sleepy eyes he swear he could see,
But a mini motorcycle, and some fantastic OC’s,
At first Seth thought it was a murderous mafia,
But he soon realized it was only Zadavia,
Rapidly she called out, taking hold of the reigns,
The fantastic OC’s proper names,
“Now Dusk, now UK, now Sapphire and Cass!
On Icy, on Mairi, and Duck, stop being such an ass!
To Celeste’s bedroom window, to the tip of the tower!
Now dash! Dash away! I need to take a shower!”
And so they jumped up high into the air,
And it quiet frankly gave the boss-lady a scare,
So up to the sky they flew,
And Duck’s expression gave away that he needed desperately to poo,
With a giggle and shout Zadavia led the way,
And UK seemed to be hitting on Icy and she had a few choice words to say,
But Seth could clearly hear the boss-lady scream;
“MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, ESPECIALLY THE LUYU TEAM!”
