Mairi blinked. What the heck had just happened? Why had Cassidy just offered her sister to this... Spirit? Why was Lucifer being trusted? Why was Maria being taken away in the first place?

However, before she could open her mouth to ask one of her numerous questions, Rev spoke up after a long silence.

"Mairi's not really doing anything else to help right now-" All the non-occupied-by-spirits anthros turned and gave him a glare. He shrugged innocently. "It was only a suggestion-"

"If it means you'll leave me bubby alone..." It was then that everyone turned and gaped at Mairi. "What? Rev's right. I'un't really of any use this ticky. Besides. If he jumps inta me, then I won't be the one hearin' Duck's sookin' 'bout bein' all cut-up 'n' stuff."

Lucifer frowned.
"To hell with you then, I'm coming whether you like it or not! Questions and all."
And, oh so carelessly, Seth entered the room with a big grin slapped on his ****y little face.
"Hey guys, what're you all-" he stopped and stared at Duck with wide eyes.
"DAYUM Duck. What happend to YOU?" he asked with a laugh.
"Oh, shut it you pervert." Lucifer growled.
He then shuddered.
"The things I've seen in that man's head." he muttered.

(Oh, God how you make me giggle Sye.)

Mairi ignored Lucifer's comment and pointed blandly at Duck. "The ghost-man who posessed you earlier got into Duck and some evil zombie guy who got un-zombified thanks to Maria for whatever reason stabbed him in the leg and so he's come back here and now Cassidy's asked him to help us but he won't help us until we offer him up a body to inhabit until we find Mairia." She inhaled deeply, and Rev gave her a little applause. 83

Seth stared....and stared some more.....and a bit more....and then he finally made his decision.
"Duck."
"Lucifer."
And Seth smacked him in the face.

"Well I dunno 'bout you lot, but I'm gunna be posessed by a heart-broken ancient poltergeist." Mairi then spread her arms wide and waited.

"Just do it. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can avoid list'nin' ta Duck's sookin'."

"Ay, did anyone else feel that?" Quick held her stomach

Cassidy stepped up to Mairi.. or Lucifer. "Just remember.. you hurt Mairi OR Maria in any way I SWEAR I will find a way to get rid of you forever." She glared at him, standing only inches away.

BTW Where's Dusk? XD

Dusk sighed.
"Why am I here again?"

*brainfart of epic fail*

Sapphire stood behind Lexi's chair, looking out into the endless stretch of space if front of them. She clutched the material tightly to avoid falling backwards, which was actually a pretty dumb move because she could have just choose to sit down but yeah XD

She looked back upon realizing that Maria had awaken and for just a split second, loosen her grip on the chair. As usual though, her timing was horrible as that was the time the ship gave an almighty lurch, knocking her off her feet and sailing to the back of the ship towards the others.

"Eep!" was all she managed to say before crashing into Quick, Slam and Dusk and landing in a comical pile across floor.

"Yes, yes she did," Lexi rolled her eyes at the front of the ship without even glancing back.

Quick got up and proceeded to help Slam up, with a little use of her powers, so he wouldn't kill the angel crushed underneath him....well....not kill but......aw well she didn't know, just get the guy out.

Successfully pulling the giant up to his feet, the mouse made her way over to the front of the ship that her dear friend just tumbled from and firmly grasped the back of Lexi's seat.


"So there cheif.....what are we doing again?"


Ace groaned and rolled his eyes.

When the ship jerked, Maria was thrown forward, off of the bed she had been laying on and straight intothe Geneal, who had been standing in front of her. The former lich's eyes widened, and he almost jumped back, until he noticed that the coyote was clinging tightly to him. Was she scared? Certainly she couldn't have been hurt.

And back at the HQ, Seth's head jerked up towards the sky.
"My...blushing virgin senses are tingling..."
And back at the space shuddle, Dusk looked out to space.
"...I have the strange urge to smack something...."
"Que?"
"Hm? Oh, nothing, nothing...."

Dusk gave the little robot a strange glare.
"Um...excuse me...little guy....." he said gently, reaching out towards to Excla.
"We're just here to help..."

"Oh...my lord...." Dusk whispered.

It was at this point that, in another far off realm of reality, Emily thought to herself, "Is this going anywhere?"

Everyone in the computer lab gave her an odd look.

And still in the same reality (I think 0_0) Andrea was on her computer, drooling over yaoi instead of writing in the role play thread. And somewhere off in the distance, you ould hear the echo of a small canadian girl screaming 'fail'.

Meanwhile while shivering in an air conditioned room on the other side of the world, Syaz was still staring at a picture of Sapphire and Dusk's future kids that were so secret that even they don't know about it and cranking up Taylor Swift on the computer instead of thinking of how to get this RP moving along 8D

"Maria!" Rose gasped, running to her oldest daughter's side.

"I'm okay, Mother... I'm okay." Maria replied, trying to pull herself to her feet. Her legs wobbled a little, but she kept herself upright.

"Alright everyone, strap yourselves in, we're landing this thin'." Ace said, his eyes narrowing a little as he focused on steering the ship safely to land

Maria glanced at the general for a moment. She felt her face grow warm. she quickly turned away and sat down in one of the seats, pulling out her seat belt and buckling it up. Rose and the others quickly followed suit.

Maria leaned back in her seat and, clutching her armrests, she took several big breaths in. Oh, how she hated riding in spaceships.

Even with the ship's systems being slightly funky due to the robot's attack...if you want to call it an attack, Ace managed to land the ship rather smoothly, much to Maria's relief.

The gang rapidly exited the ship. Rose took Maria's arm and the pair ran towards the palace. Ace wasn't able to land the ship right next to the palace, and Rose knew that if anyone at all that was involved with Starzians saw them, they would quickly become targets. She knew that the Loonatics could easily defend them, but she didn't want it to come to that.

As if sensing Rose's fear, the Loonatics and Dakkarsis ran after them, keeping close. Even though they were both wearing long dresses, Rose and Maria were both very fast and lead the gang most of the way.

Lexi glanced at Ace and grinned. "Now we know where Cassidy got her speed from."

Ace shook his head, chuckling a little. He could remember what Lexi was reffering to. The months when Cassidy had just joined the team, when Ace was teaching her to fight. Her offense skills weren't her strongsuit, but she certainly knew how to defend herself. When she was frightened, the only one who was able to catch her was Rev. Maria was a lot like the Cassidy that Ace, Lexi, Tech, Rev, Duck, and Slam had known before, basically a high-wired bundle of nerves.

Upon making their way through the gates and into the palace, Maria and Rose relaxed, panting a little from the running.

"We are safe here." Rose spoke. "You must be hungry. Come and we'll get something to eat." The older coyote smiled warmly and motioned for them to follow her.
