Maria's face only flushed more. She was concerned for the General. Somehow she managed to bring him back to life. She didn't know how, but she did. She also didn't know any of the affects of her powers on him. Any second now, he could be growing a third eye out of his elbow and a tail out of the back of his head for all she knew.

Cassidy meanwhile was pacing along the living room, with Mairi watching her. Every time she passed by the door leading to the medical lab she paused and stared at the door for a moment, waiting to see Tech come out. When he didn't, she resumed pacing. Up and down, back and forth across the floor. It was starting to make Mairi dizzy.

Mairi twirled thrice, extending a violent arm and pointing to the space between Lucifer's eyes. "YOU'RE very annoying, you drongo!!" She glared, causing Lucifer to glare back. Her face suddenly softened. "You must really be in love with her to'ave been searchin' this long." She perched herself on the edge of the hospital bed. "How did ya's meet? What was she like? ... What happened?"

Lucifer stared at Mairi.
"...um...."
"What don't I get?"
He then turned his attention to Cassidy.
"Many things. You possibly couldn't understand." and from then on out he made a dedication to not look at Casidy nor speak to her for as long as possible.
He smiled gently at Mazz.
"Well, I was her guard you see. Tis she always loved me since we were very young. But her father, the king, engaged her to a prince twice her age a few villages over. The Prince was rather wealthy and he thought it be good for them to get acquainted. And so they were set to be married in mid April right before the jousting tournament where I usually participate (and win). So I made a deal with the king that if I win once again, I would get Rita for my own. He whole heartedly agreed. And of course i won that year again and waited right outside the castle doors for Rita. But the king was a bit a thinker. A devious fellow. And so he had me killed, shot actually, before Rita could make it outside. And within Rita's sorrow she stabbed herself to be with me. I've been roaming the earth for ages and yet I still can't seem to find her."
Lucifer let out a long sigh.
"Typical Romeo and Juliet story."

Upon hearing this story, Cassidy's expression softened. This story reminded her of her and Tech's story.... except the killing part at the end. Her heart went out to Rita, wherever she was. "I still don't understand..... you're after Rita..... but you're chasing after my sister, Maria. Maria isn't 14 hundred years old. She's only six years older than me. You... must have her confused with Rita."

Cassidy huffed. This person was frustrating her very much. She had half a mind to... waaaiiitt... She smiled. An idea formed in her head. "Please, we really need you to answer the questions." Her tone became soft and begging. "Mar- I mean, Rita, is still being held captive by the zombies, along with several of our teammates. Without your help we may not be able to rescue them."
