As Seth walked off through the entrance to the underground base, the shattered pieces of a zombie which he had personally destroyed called out to him, "Wwwwwwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiiiippppppppppe yyyyyyyyyooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr ffffffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeett!"

Meanwhile, Duck continued to fight with his Jetpack, falling further and further behind from the rest of the Loonatics as they went. He didn't care to notice when Ace finally piped up and pointed in a distinct direction. "There he is! It's Seth! ....What is DAT?" His finger trailed from the direction of Seth down to the ground where the pieces of ghoul lay.

Its one eye rolled about, fixing on the view of the Loonatics and somehow the mound managed to utter, "Whhhhhhhhhat arrrrrrrreeeee youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu looking aaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttuh?"

(You seem to like writing the zombie's speech, don't ya, Brigid? XD)

"Haha, don't think so." Cassidy faked a laugh.

"Give my brother back!" Tech snarled, eyes glowing.

"Team, lets kick these guys back to their graves!" Ace ordered, shooting a lazer beam at the nearest zombie.

Sapphire looked up at the church, noticing a slight opening on the roof. Hmmm.... She glanced at the others.... Could she?

Maria shook slightly as she followed Dakkarsis through the darkness. "Where are we gouing?" She finally asked. She wanted to seem as brave as possible. She didn't want him to know her fear.

"Oh no you don't!" Cassidy growled, making chase after Seth.He kept ahead of her, not letting her come too close, but letting her close enough as to not loose her.

Suddenly Seth stopped running, causing Cassidy to nearly crash right into him. "Rita!" she heard him gasp.

"Rita?" Cassidy repeated, confused. She glanced past him, following his gaze. "Maria!!"

Maria froze in fear, staring at Seth and Cassidy. "Cassidy! Seth!" She gasped.

Seth began to walk towards the barriers. Cassidy growled and lunged at Seth, pinning him to the ground.

"Baby Sis?! What are you doing?!" Maria shreiked, confused.

"There's something wrong with him." Cassidy replied, before shouting into her communicator. "Guys! I have Seth down! I need backup!"

Sapphire landed a little clumsily on the ground and hurriedly stood up again to look at Seth. Tech's expression was hard as he approached the younger coyote.

Seth meanwhile growled and tried to push Cassidy away, which only made her grip tighter on him.

And Duck remained clueless..... just because.

"Wait," stalled Ace. "Who's dis 'Rita' gal you're talkin about?"

"Your SISTER?" scoffed Lucifer.
"Oh, that's RICH darling."
He then turned his head so that he was looking at Ace.
"Rita is my mistress." he informed, he then looked at Cassidy.
"GET. OFF." he snarled.

"You'd never understand." he growled back, slapping her hand away.
"None of you would understand."

"It's nothing like that!" he shouted.
"You've never had to watch someone die! Having to die yourself and never being able to see them again! And then you finally find them...only to be drawn away from them once more." Lucifer lowered his head, fists cleched.
"You'd never understand..."

(little does Lucifer know XD)

Lucifer's face turned a deep red, not of embarassment but of anger.
"Tell me." he murmered.
"Have you ever been betrayed by a loved one?"

Seeing as the Loonatics were all distracted by Seth now, Dakkarsis took to leading Maria away from the church. Occasionally a few zombies would randomly appear from those now well-known green vorpals along the path, disappearing again just as quickly when the General shouted orders to them. For the most part, he was telling them to keep the Loonatics distracted.

'I should have known this would happen when I chose not to kill her," murmered the lich. He didn't mean for her to hear, but neither did he think to keep his jaws shut. "But there's one other alternative."

And so he headed straight for the public space station.

When Maria heard those words from the General, she stopped in her tracks. Her face turned into an angry frown. "Really? Then why are you doing this? Why don't you kill me right now? Why are you keeping me alive?"

Cassidy glared at Seth-er.... the person who was controlling Seth. "But that's not important...I-"

Before the coyote was able to finish her statement, Ace stepped in between her and their possessed teammate and grabbed Seth's arms. "We should get back and try to locate Maria. That .. thing hs probably taken her somewhere completely different now."

Cassidy just kinda stood there silently, staring past everyone to where she had last seen her sister, before that THING disappeared with her again. She swore that if she layed hands on it anytime soon, he had better hope he's dead.

(As Emily would say, let's move this shiznit along...)

The Loonatics had some difficulties getting the possess Seth back to HQ. In fact, half way there, he broke free, and would have escaped, if Icy hadn't of caught him upside the head with a plank of wood. Where she had found it so fast was beyond the rest of the team.

When the gang finally got home, they locked him in the room they had had him in before. Ace and Tech decided to let Cassidy ask him a few questions. They knew she had enough self-control to not kill him, especially since he was in her future brother-in-law's body.

"Urrggg..." He groaned, picking himself off the ground. He looked up to see Cassidy sitting crosslegged on the little table in the middle of the room, watching him with a cold glare. "You again." He growled.

Cassidy held up her hand. "Before you go on threatening to kill Seth, let me point out something. You see that little collar on your neck?"

The man felt his neck. Sure enough, there was some sort of metal collar around it.

"See, while you were out, my fiance and I figured out how to separate you from Seth. That's why we put this collar on. And this..." She pulled out a remote control from her pocket. "Is the control. With one little push, you get kicked out of that body."

"You think that will keep me out? I can simply re-possess his body, and the more that happens, the weaker your freind becomes..."

"We anticipated that." She then stood up, unhooking a gun from her belt. "This is specially designed to suck in spirits such as you. So, you get me mad, you end up in here." She patted the gun's barrel.

Quick, who was outside of the soundproof room, looked up at Tech. "You guys did that in the time it took for us to get him in there and tell Zadavia what happened?" She asked, her face an expression of surprise.

Tech smiled. "She's a good liar, isn't she?"

(Cass is lying. They have no clue how to get Lucifer out of Seth's body XD)

"I've done a little reading on it." Cassidy shrugged. "Anything special I should know?"

"Poltergiest? Isn't that something like one of those really playful ghost?" Sapphre said in confusion.

"No, that's pottery," Duck rolled his eyes.

..... Which only left Sapphire more confused, unsure whether Duck was just pretending to be stupid, or if he really had nothing up there.

Lucifer gave Cassidy a twisted smile.
"Yes. That I can do this!"
A mist sweeped out of Seth's mouth and swirled around the room. He quickly swept into Cassidy's body.

"Well, it appears that Ms Hot-Head there just got her life into more of complicated mess than it already is" Duck remarked, which earned him several death glares from the occupants of the room.

"Dude.... That's just disturbing....." Duck said, backing away from the room.

"It's very hard to get rid of a poltergeist you see. I highly doubt any gadget can remove me." he spoke through Cassidy, which was rather disturbing.
"Y'know dear....I like your body MUCH better. Yes...much hatred in here. So...hotheaded...you'd make a lovely villian." he cackled.
"Forget the alchemist, it's cozy in here."
Tech gaped.
"Excuse ME?"

(he took that wrong XD)

A strange shock-like sensation ripped through Cassidy's small body. The force of it immediately caused the real Cassidy to black out. Lucifer was also knocked out, and Cassidy's limp figure fell to the floor.

Tech's hands shook as he carefully picked Cassidy up. Gently cradling her in one arm, he felt her forehead. She felt hot, as if she has just finished battling with one of the many monsters they'd run into in their missions. The heat began to be painful on his hand, but he could barely notice it through the rest of her uniform, only her forehead.

Still holding Cassidy with one hand, which was fairly easy considering her size, he turned around to face his brother. Seth's forehead was warm, as well. Not quite as warm as Cassidy's, but feverish all the same. Slam came up, offering to help Tech get Seth to the med lab. Tech just nodded silently, standing up and leading the way.

When they reached the lab, the two layed Cassidy and Seth out on the medical lab beds. Tech, as much as he didn't want to, added straps to Cassidy's bed to hold her down, just incase if she- er, Lucifer decided to try and cause trouble when she woke up. He knew that doing such a thing would only scare the life out of the real Cassidy, so, as odd as it sounded, he hoped that she wouldn't wake up until he figured out how to get Lucifer out of her.

Tech turned to Seth's bed and saw Quick standing at the younger coyote's side, petting his head and talking to him in whispers. Tech smiled at the mouse. "Good idea. Try to wake him up." Quick looked up at him and smiled back.

Tech then returned his attention to Cassidy's motionless body. He picked up a small device from the table and pressed a button, which caused a red light to shine from it, scanning over the female's body, searching for any sign of Lucifer. Tech gritted his teeth. 'She's mine. You touch her the wrong way, you die.'

(*passes out*........*is hoping to get a chance to write Cassidy literally freaking out* 83)

What the lich said was true. Maria didn't like him. In fact, she didn't like a lot of things at that moment. He just happened to scare her right now. When the lich moved towards her, Maria ever so slightly inched away. Not trying to escape, just, not wanting to be too close to the skeleton. The only exception being the General. For some odd reason she found that she trusted him. Aside from having kidnapped her and threatened to kill her a couple of times, he really wasn't all that bad.

(And then it starts 8D)

Maria felt panic rising inside of her. She had no clue what was really going on, her sister and her freinds were obviously having trouble keeping up, and now she was starting to feel strange. Her head was spinning, making her stomach lurch, as if she was gonna throw up. Her legs wobbled a bit and she grabbed a nearby railing to lean on. 'What's going on? Where's Cassidy?' She glanced at the skeleton watching her. Would he be able to tell if she were using her powers? Maybe... but she was worried for her sister.

'Cassidy? Can you hear me?'

But she received no reply.

'Cassidy? Wh- where are you?'

Now she was starting to freak out.

'Cassidy! Please answer me! Where are you? What's happened?!'
