First thing's first.
Apparently, Akira_Cat, SoulessAce, Siamese712, and PurpleGirly all conspired to shut LUO roleplay threads down because they hate OCs in THIS thread. I didn't know this thread existed, personally. 8D Danni did, but she didn't know what to do.

Akira_Cat, apparently thinking she had the right, actually "ERADICATED" all the threads. She did not shut them down. I watched this happen. It started with a few threads being locked, and then I refreshed and everything was instantly gone.

And then...It was only AFTER she did so that she put up this notice, stating clearly that she ERADICATED all the threads. As an experiment. To see what happens to LUO.

My entire disagreement was that...I don't care what they think about OCs. A GOOD, RESPECTFUL moderator does not do the following:

1.) Go about deleting entire forum sections without prior notice. (And I'm sorry, that "Minority" thread was not a notice. If she had put it in the "Headquarters" section, it would have been.

2.) Use their Administration rights to carry out EXPERIMENTS on large quantities of people.

3.) Do all this just because they don't like something.

4.) Try to take control even though they're not the REAL official admin. 83 I'm sorry, but she would only have the right to do what she did if other admin agreed. Franz certainly didn't know. And I don't know about Emily, she's probably going to be livid.

In short: Akira_Cat far overstepped personal bounds as a moderator, without any indication of permission to do it. (Except from the three stooges.)

And so I left LUO because I didn't want to be under the rule of some reckless little girl. Her purposes for deleting the role-play threads were twisted, she didn't even roleplay anyway (she said so herself), and yes. She IS a little girl. It shows quite clearly.

SO anyway, I just got done talking with the real Akira. She does know what she did was wrong, but we've both agreed that there's no going back now. She was going to just lock all the threads but in a fit of either frustration or something else she wound up deleting them.

In the meantime, I'm currently kind of confused. There's either a troll that's been pretending to be her or she's refuting what she said to me last night...I kind of believe it was a troll because she spoke differently last night from the way she normally speaks...and the last few comments sounded like a big joke.

I was hurt..... and angry when I read the 'Minority' thread. I knew it existed.... and I knew there was a anonymous idiot that said something about 'the people who this is dedicated to hasn't shown up yet'....

BUT I FREAKING DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

The RP thing, it was so dumb I didn't know what to do when I saw the role play section with the big '0 posts' there! We were just having fun! Same thing with the OCs.

I PM'd Danni the second I knew, because I didn't know what else to do. I already read that you left Bri and I was well.... scared.

I talked to Danni a bit and she gave me the link 83

But I guess its too late for us to go back to LUO anyway^^

Ok so this is my second time trying to write this, the first time we the powers went off ^^;

I just found out about LUO... wow just wow I can't believe it, the mod who erased everything did a very immature thing. And if the reason was because of OCs, that is the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I do recognize that I don't have an OC... Actually I do I just rarely use her... but that is no reason to delete posts, art work, topics etc...

And I don't want people to misunderstand me, I know I wrote a journal once about OCs, and how they were over boarding DA, just in case I didn't meant you guys OCs Dannielle you know I love Cassidy I even drew her for you because I like her =3 and Brigit you know you always receive pretty good feedback from me about your OCs I generally wrote that journal because of Sony Mae's Mary Sue's OCs and because of an childish discussion I had with her (but that's in the past now) I cleared that up because I was receiving bad feedback from people who had OCs in DA, and I do not hate OCs, I just have problem with some of their ridiculous owners >_>

ANYWHO!! I miss LUO, and even though I was rarely there but I did checked it out from time to time, Oh well I shall enjoy this site now 8D

Well, Franz deleted everything due to a mistake that Akira made that seriously tissed myself Brigid, Seren, Andrea and Syaz off. When she realized what she'd done, I readily forgave her and tried to make things better between myself and her.

I'll be keeping a close eye on them. If they start any fights, they'll be seen to... But that means none of you may start any fights either.

As for the newer problem, the event of LUO's delete fest last night...
I'm speaking to Franz on MSN right now, and it turns out that his LUO account was hacked that night. Probably by the "Anonymous" troll that Akira mentioned to me earlier.

I kind of thought that didn't sound anything like him. Franz is very shy, level-headed and hates drama. I've known him for too long to believe he was the real culprit.

One last thing, I'm wondering if you guys would be okay with it if I made registration to this forum Admin-Approval only? As in, only I can accept new members. It's unfair, but it helps keep us from any hackers or trolls.

Along with that, Franz has told me that on LUO he was stripped of his Admin rights, along with everyone except for Akira_Cat.

I'm halfway tempted to check and see if I was IP banned, too.

My guess (and Franz's) is that either she is truly the one to blame for this OR....
Someone is using her as a dummy. I'll be looking into it further.

Today I logged me in on LUO and after a few seconds I was logged out. Then I wanted to log me in again but I instead I got the message: "Login Failed - This IP has been banned. If you feel this is a mistake, contact an Administrator of this board."

It's a shame what happened in the last two days at LUO. Deleted Threads and banned Members.

I actually feel really guilty for that, and I know it's a bad idea for me to be apolagising, but I was quite apprehensive about posting there, knowing that some people would be upset about it. Honestly, sometimes when they're mentioned a tad too frequently, OC's can bug me, but I'm not completely against them, I love Cassidy Coyote and....dammit, I forget the other names, but, I feel really guilty for it.

I had a feeling that something bad would come out of it, and I was annoyed when she posted the 'Attention All Role-Players' notice, when it explained that se couldn't re-open the thread and she sounded like she didn't care, that really annoyed me because she obviously didn't think her little plan through very well.

So I'm very sorry for the trouble that I may have singlehandedly caused.

I don't know if Cali-Bunny knows about this, but yesterday I have contacted the customer support from Sparklit/Activeboard and asked them if they have a backup from the forum and can send it to me.

Their answer was:

Your forum administrator can recover threads and deleted posts to the forum; Please have them look in the comment moderation section of the forum to begin recovery.

Since Cali-Bunny is the administrator from LUO she can recover all threads and posts.

Honestly, by now, I don't think it even matters anymore... The result of your actions, in the long-run, was beneficial to us all. ...Strangely enough.
For one, It taught us all a few good lessons which burned well enough to probably stay engraved in our heads for the rest of our lives,
and for another, the turn of events proved that the majority of us CAN pull through in the worst of situations after all.

My guess is that whoever did the rest of the damage under Franz's screen-name was simply waiting for a moment in which tension between LUO members go to its peak and used that as an opening to attack the website without being noticed.

Akira and I are slowly radaring in on who exactly did it. I DID find something interesting that we could use. The person who signed into LUY the moment I linked the forum to DA was smart AND dumb enough to change their own IP with a live.fr domain name "so as to not be conspicuous"... or more possibly in order to make me IP ban her, or get more angry at her, or something.

...This person thought pretty far, but apparently not far enough...

So. Who do we know that has knowledge of IP changing/hacking AND frequents DeviantArt... and possibly even hates LUO? ^^

It does seem somewhat strange that someone would go this far just to make a bunch of Loonatics Unleashed lovers angry, it's a bit of a waste really, and somewhat sad (In a pathetic kind of way)

The person who did this was obviously pretty clever, but also, they must've been bored enough that they dicided to just make an evil plan to ruin a bunch of teenagers/kids/young adults' ideas of a fun website. Why would someone try/think so hard to do that? It doesn't make sense!?

(IMPORTANT > ) ALSO=, I did find something interesting, before I found out that I had been banned and was unable to post comments; under the 'Randomness' topic, an Anonymous person, simply started a topic called 'Anonymous', where they merely wrote 'Anonymous'.

I found that a bit strange to write in a topic in a website which was becoming a 'ghost town' - maybe this person wanted to send us a hint that they were the cunning person behind this plot?

I personally found it odd, why just write that, there was nothing else there while lots of other topics had been deleted?

Once again, I am really sorry for the trouble that I have caused, but I am thankful for your forgivness.....I was kind of scared to look at your reply, Bandkanon, I was worried that I would not be forgiven....or that I would be flamed....But I am very very thankful for your forgiveness! aww

I did feel lost when I looked on LUO yesterday (Me thinks it was yesterday) morning and discovered that LUO was dying...(as much as I tried to rescusitate it, Damn whoever banned me! furious )

I think what I was afraid of most in terms of the site dying, was losing all of the friends that I have made here, I was worried that everyone would split up and forget about LU, I'm glad that a lot of people have found the site here and are trying to forgive and forget what dreadful things happened yesterday (Was it yesterday??!)

I couldn't believe that it was Franz who had 'destroyed' LUO, I didn't know him that well, but I knew him enough to know that I couldn't imagine him doing that, he seemed too nice and awesome - he ruled. But initially I was angry when I thought that it was him who had 'cleaned' up the site, but then when I read your posts, Bandkanon, and when my logic took over, I began to strongly doubt that it was Franz, and I believed that it was a hacker.

I just hope that if Franz joins us here, and that no one wil accuse him of anything, that he will leave and not return, I believe that it couldn't have been him, and I hope that he comes here so that other people can realise that it wasn't him, too.

He hasn't tried to join yet, though I did give him the url. He's still very nervous after all that. So is Akira, actually. (Though I did take a bit to accept her registration because I was trying to be certain it was actually her this time)

I think I'm going to make a big fat memo for everyone on LUY to change their passwords at least once every month, because the culprit is still out there and could still find a way to hack any one of us.

It's just a suggestion (Going on what Bandkanon said) maybe if one of us starts to act realy out of character, then we shouldn't just asume that that person has suddenley become a hater, maybe we'd need to consider the possibility that they have been hacked - at least that way we could make sure that no one feels guilty for actions that aren't their own.

Not to rain on this post or anything, but emotion comes before logic in most people. Even I was a bit mad at Fanz for doing that, even though it wasn't really Franz. The first thing comes to mind when somone does somthing abnormal and rude is; "OMG WTF? U JERK!" instead of "Perhaps he's being hacked."
Though we've been through this now and we can probably pinpoint haters and hackers much more easily than usual.
